Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to any services or materials provided by Professional Kitchens to the client.
All goods sold by Professional kitchens are sold subject to the company’s standard terms and conditions (as detailed below) which in turn form part of the contract the client has with the company. Terms and Conditions on the client’s order form or other similar documents shall not be binding on the company.
1.1 All prices, quantities and delivery times stated on any quotation shall not be binding on Professional Kitchens; these commercial assessments will be achieved within reasonable effort by the company.
2.1 Orders will be considered to have taken place when a website, email or phone confirmation has been received from a representative of the client company.
2.2 f you are making a purchase through our website, www.professionalkitchens.co.uk, simply browse and add items that you wish to purchase into the shopping basket. Once you have finished browsing, click on ‘Checkout’ and fill out the details required to enable us to process your order.
2.3 We are able to accept all credit and debit cards; please send over your credit card information via phone or over the internet. No charge will be made to customers who wish to make a payment with a credit card.
2.4 When making a purchase on our website we ensure that all information provided by yourselves is secured through a high grade 256-bit encryption making sure that no 3rd parties are able to access your information. Your credit card details will be passed on directly to our bank without being stored on our server.
2.5 Please note that every order placed through Professional Kitchens is deemed at a Trade Purchase.
3.1 All orders are subject to these terms and conditions of sale. Each client of Professional Kitchens is required to read these terms and conditions and if not understood please contact us to clarify any questions.
3.2 Professional Kitchens reserves the right to decline any orders made.
3.3 A contract will only exist between the client and Professional Kitchens once an order has been received and Professional Kitchens has received payment in full.
3.4 You will be notified if your order is not in stock and it will be placed on back order. You will also be given the option to cancel the order if it you do not wish to wait.
Description of Goods and Services
4.1 We have made sure that the illustration, price, description, measurement and specification of our goods and services on our website and any other marketing material is published correctly. This information is published for the sole purpose of providing approximate specifications of the goods supplied by Professional Kitchens. Where any such details are important, the buyer should verify the information before placing the order.
4.2 Professional Kitchens deserves the right to modify or vary a design specification or finish of any of its products without notice. Any changes made to products will not materially affect the quality or fitness of any goods and will still comply with any applicable standards or legal requirements.
4.3 Our standard specification for all stainless steel products is corrosion resistant in most applications. However, in certain environments 316 and 304 grade stainless steel can react to enzymes, this includes fish processing and any marine biased environment. If you have any questions regarding this please call us on 0333 200 0712. Please note that Professional Kitchens will not be held responsible for any product issues caused by these environments.
5.1 Unless otherwise agreed the Professional Kitchens is entitled to sub-contract all or any part of the work required.
6.1 Professional Kitchens will endeavour to supply both services and materials within the quoted time but time will not be of the essence within the contract.
7.1 The client acknowledges that the rights to the goods owned by Professional Kitchens and that the goods are protected by United Kingdom copyright laws, international treaty provisions and all other applicable national laws.
8.1 New clients or other clients out of terms will be expected to pay in advance for their services. All other invoices issued by Professional Kitchens shall be paid by the client within 30 days of the date on the invoice unless agreed in writing by Professional Kitchens. If a late payment occurs, Professional Kitchens may decide to charge 1.5% of interest per month on the outstanding amount.
8.2 The buyer will not receive any goods until full payment has been made. Upon default of payment Professional Kitchens reserves the right to repossess the goods.
8.3 By credit or debit card via the website. There will be no delivery until cleared funds are received, with the exception of customers who have a credit account.
For account customers we reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 1.5% per month or part month thereafter on amounts remaining unpaid after 30 days.
9.1 We offer free delivery on all orders, this applies to deliveries made to mainland UK (Some areas of Scotland are Chargeable). Deliveries incurred outside of mainland UK will receive a delivery price on application.
9.2 We aim to make all deliveries within 7-10 working days of the order being received. However, if we happen to have the item in stock, we aim to deliver within 1-3 working days. Delivery periods and dates are not subject to any warren condition, therefore no liability will be attached to Professional Kitchens if delivery dates have not been met for any reason.
9.3 If you require an urgent delivery request then please contact Professional Kitchens on 0333 200 0712.
9.4 Please take note of the delivery date on the order acknowledgment sent or the delivery period stated on the website is estimated. If the customer is unable to accept delivery on the stated date which results in aborted delivery then you will be liable for the cost of re-delivery. However, we will attempt to get hold of the customer to ensure that this does not occur.
9.5 Free of charge deliveries will be provided within 2 working days (between 8am-6pm) unless the customer will decide to upgrade their delivery option for an additional cost. Please contact our office on 0333 200 0712 for more information.
9.6 Please ensure that you check for damage at time of delivery
9.7 Ensure that your item is examined or checked before signing for your delivery
9.8 Measham Krysa Associates Ltd will not be held responsible for any damage of goods if the delivery has not been examined or checked before signing
9.9 Our carriers will not allow claims if the damage is not noted on their docket or has not been reported within 24 hours of delivery acceptance
9.10 If the goods are not signed for by yourself then please pass this information onto the recipient
9.11 If the carrier refuses to wait whilst you or your customer are checking the goods then please sign for the package as damaged
9.12 Please report any damage or discrepancies to our office immediately upon receipt of delivery
9.13 Measham Krysa Associates Ltd will not be held responsible for any loses that may occur due to 3rd party installation issues/costs. Measham Krysa Associates Ltd recommend that contractors are not booked before delivery takes place.
9.14 Next day delivery items are sent out with the intention of being delivered on the next working day with a 3rd party transport company. However if that 3rd party company does not achieve the delivery date stated, Measham Krysa Associates Ltd will not be held responsible for this.
9.15 Customers are required to inform Professional Kitchens of any access issues for deliveries. This information will then be passed onto our transport company. Professional Kitchens will not be held responsible if these instructions have not been followed by the 3rd party transport company.
9.16 Please note that all of our deliveries are Kerbside delivery only. (This means that they will drive to the nearest access point to the intended address and you will be required to collect it from there) Our delivery drivers are not required to carry the item into the property. If require a different delivery service, please call 0333 200 0712 for a quotation.
Acceptance of Delivery
10.1 The buyer is required to examine the goods upon delivery and may need to unpack the goods to check for any damage. If you are not satisfied with the goods then do not sign the carrier’s documents.
10.2 Loss or damage of goods will pass to the buyer once the item has been delivered or if the buyer wrongfully fails to take delivery of goods at the time when Professional Kitchens has proposed delivery of goods.
11.1 All goods supplied by Professional Kitchens have 12 months parts and labour warranty.
11.2 If the goods are proved by Professional Kitchens to be damaged or defective due to defects in materials or workmanship, the company will for free of charge and within 12 months of the date on the invoice, supply replacement parts to the buyer.
11.3 The warranty does not cover defects caused by unsuitable storage conditions, abnormal use, misuse or neglect, or installation by an unqualified personnel. If Stainless Metalwork Ltd deem that the damaged goods are not covered by warranty then the buyer will be invoiced for the call out. The buyer is responsible for this invoice.
11.4 If the item has been used then we are unable to issue a refund. If the item has been unused but not opened then the customer will incur a 25% restocking fee cost. We will only accept returns within 14 days of the customers purchase. This excludes made to order/bespoke orders.

11.5 We do not accept returns for made to order and bespoke items - all manufactured item dimensions will be checked with the customer and if bespoke; working drawings will be sent to the customer to be signed off. Once signed off the item will go into manufacture.
11.6 Please note that we recommend that you should not use products containing chloride on stainless steel units. Rust can occur due to this and your order will not be covered under warranty if found to be used.
11.7 The warranty does not cover rust caused by seafood preparation and/or units used in a marine based environment. These include but not limited to: Fishmongers/ fish counters, Seafood restaurants, Sea faring vessels. Salt water, salt water spray and certain fish enzymes are highly corrosive for stainless steel.
- If you require a unit in a marine based environment then please call for a quote in a suitable grade of stainless steel.
12.1 The buyer should check product specifications before purchasing the product. Please check the dimensions of the goods before purchase to ensure that there is sufficient space to access the property.
12.2 A corgi registered engineer must install all gas appliances and capable engineer install all other electrical appliances. Failing to do this will invalidate any manufacturer’s warranty.
12.3 Stainless Metalwork Ltd will not be held responsible for any loses that may occur due to 3rd party installation issues/costs
13.1 If a breach of contract occurs, Professional Kitchens will not be liable if it occurs due to a cause beyond its reasonable control including an Act of God, extreme weather conditions, flood, fire, industrial action or lockouts, actions of the government, war, riots, terrorism or an action from any individual whom the company is not associated with.
